Senior Photoshoot Tips

Congratulations on graduating! You’re probably feeling a lot of things right now: excitement, relief, maybe even a little bit of sadness. But one thing you should definitely be feeling is confident. Because your senior photoshoot is coming up, it’s time to show the world what you’re made of.

But before you can do that, you need to prep. And that’s where I come in. I’m Stephanie Selby, a Charleston senior portrait photographer, and I’ve been helping seniors look and feel their best for years. Here are a few tips to help you prep for your senior photoshoot with me:

  1. Choose the right photographer.

This is probably the most important decision you’ll make. Your senior portraits are going to be with you for the rest of your life, so you want to make sure you choose a photographer whom you feel comfortable with and who you trust to capture your personality.

  1. Book your session early.

Senior portrait sessions are in high demand, so it’s important to book yours early. This will give you plenty of time to plan and prepare for your session.

  1. Choose your outfits wisely.

Your senior portraits are a chance to show off your style, so choose outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable. If you’re not sure what to wear, ask your photographer for help.

  1. Get ready for your session.

The night before your session, make sure to get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast. You’ll want to look and feel your best for your photos.

  1. Relax and have fun!

Your senior portrait session is supposed to be a fun experience, so relax and enjoy yourself. Your photographer will guide you through the process and help you look your best.

I hope these tips help you prep for your senior portrait session. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’m always happy to help!
