Sometimes the most magical sessions are the ones filled with genuine laughter and playful moments – and that’s exactly what we experienced with the Stoops family! Lauren, her husband, and their three adorable children (two energetic boys and their sweet little girl) brought so much joy to the streets with this downtown Charleston family photoshoot.
We love how the historic charm of Charleston provided the perfect backdrop for both our posed portraits and those precious candid moments. The way the kids’ eyes lit up as they explored the cobblestone streets, and the natural smiles that appeared when mom and dad swooped them up for impromptu hugs – these are the moments that make family photography so special.
The waterfront portion of our session gave us the perfect opportunity to capture those dreamy, golden-hour family portraits, while still letting the kids be kids (because let’s be honest – those unplanned moments often make the best photos!). The genuine connection between all five family members shines through in every image, from the tender parent moments to the silly sibling interactions .
